In this case, the client was a business executive residing over the Hudson River. We approached this project as an extension of our client’s meticulous eye for detail and tailored personal style. Drawing inspiration from its location – where skyscrapers meet rivers – the panoramic views served as our inspiration. We played up rich, deep velvets and sharp-edged furniture evocative of the Manhattan skyline. With copper and metal touches, we honored the glamor of the city’s lights. Through soft drapery, we nodded to the free-flowing rivers. Our designs revolved around the lighting of the space: the day providing a calming overtone, while the night feels dramatic and intentional. This space is all about the atmosphere.
