Design is a Language.
We utilize dramatic contrasts as tools for communication through built spaces, furniture and objects. Intentionally, we create hierarchies of elements to communicate our concepts clearly. Combining hard clean lines and cooler materials with softer curves and warm colors, we place a high degree of importance on tactile considerations.
And, since we believe design must also make you feel something, our final results are always refined and authentic. Our work is playful and elegant, calming and confident, raw and seductive.
We put a concentrated effort into detailing specific elements–whether it’s forms and objects or spaces and materials–to create an interior dialogue and evoke emotion. Consider a space that is soft and calming, and we’ll add a sudden pop of color or texture to create tension and playfulness.
We partner with clients who are also designers at heart. Our clientele has a visual eye and something to say. We value the elements that are displayed in our spaces just as much as we value the design. We have a strong sense of responsibility to our clients and their involvement is integral to the success of projects.

CUSTOM CREATIONS
We offer custom built furniture and designed elements. We design the product and we produce it – working directly with fabricators, artists, and artisans. We’re involved in every detail from color choices and materiality to connections and joinery.

Jovanna brings a critical blend of creative vision and excellence in execution to the design process. With an eye towards the future, she believes design is free and limitless and is inspired by the intangible. She leads projects at the intersection of design, branding, and storytelling. Through her spaces, Jovanna observes connections. Connections between people and space, space and form, design and materials. She credits her Miami roots for her infatuation with vibrant and contrasted design.
BRENDAN
MAHONEY
Brendan brings a meticulous attention to detail and a strong knowledge of fabrication to his projects. His collaborative work ethic is essential for managing a multifaceted design team and encouraging the highest quality work. Brendan’s background in fine art and sculpture in addition to architecture lends to a design approach intrigued by dualities – like tension and repose, hardness and softness – in his work he often finds resonance between the two.

Process
We contemplate internally, live intentionally, and design purposefully. Constantly inspired by the world around us—whether it’s a vintage obsession or more of a modern luxury—we often pull references from things that are seemingly unrelated. We challenge ourselves to consider alternative solutions, iterating and improving to ensure our work resonates with our client.
We value diversity in voices—through history, collective knowledge, current culture, and independent experiences. From all of these contributions, we find a path to now.
Strategies
We believe in big interventions as much as small moves. From building physical scale
models and testing alternative approaches, we challenge ourselves to discover the strongest over-arching concept with the details to make it real. We seek out conversations with both collaborators and critics. We ideate first, and edit later.
